Miss Emily Haynes began working with the Student Life Office in 2010 and became the Dean of Women in 2016. In her role as Dean of Women, she trains female leadership on campus and has the opportunity to counsel and disciple ladies at MBU. Emily began teaching counseling courses in the College of Bible and Church Ministries in the fall of 2020.
Emily says, “I love working at Maranatha because I get the opportunity to see students grow in their knowledge and love of God.”

BS Piano Pedagogy, Maranatha Baptist University/Pillsbury Baptist Bible College
Campus Involvement: Dean of Women; frequent speaker for campus workshops and devotions (Student Life workshops, dorm devotions, society chapels); teacher in Maranatha Music Prep School.
Family – Emily loves spending time with her two siblings and three nieces.

Church Ministry – Emily teaches in the three-year-old Sunday School Class and is involved with the music ministry of her church, playing piano and flute.
Other activities and interests – Emily enjoys a variety of activities when she’s not busy on campus, including reading, music, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.
