Janet Tschida

Miss Janet Tschida has been part of the Maranatha music faculty since 2001 She is also the director of Maranatha Music Prep School, a community music school for early childhood music classes, theory classes, ensembles, and private lessons. Miss Tschida teaches pedagogy and keyboard courses as well as supervising pedagogy internships. Her teaching philosophy is to actively involve students in every class, combining course content with hands-on learning opportunities.

“Teaching is in my DNA…it’s what I love doing, and I’m grateful to have a career I enjoy so much,” Miss Tschida says. Working with the caliber of students and colleagues Maranatha attracts is a wonderful privilege. In addition to caring about our students’ academic and musical formation, at Maranatha we can openly care deeply about our students’ spiritual formation.”
