Ken Banks’ background and education prepared him for a unique ministry at Maranatha. In 2016, he joined the MBU staff as the Enterprise Systems Administrator, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a systems analyst, systems manager, database manager, programmer/analyst, and network administrator. In 2020, he became part of the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Network Technology program, teaching part time while continuing his role in the IT Department.
In regard to working and teaching at Maranatha, Ken Banks writes, “I am serving at Maranatha because it is essential that students have a school that is a fundamental Baptist school and I want to do my part in serving the Lord.”
