Nathan Huffstutler

Associate Professor
College of Arts and Sciences,
Department of Humanities

Mr. Nathan Huffstutler joined the Department of Humanities in 2005. Before coming to Maranatha, he worked for five years as a textbook editor, project manager and editorial supervisor for a Christian textbook company. He enjoys writing and has had a variety of articles and stories published. He particularly enjoys teaching Shakespeare. In 2020, he became the English Program Coordinator.

“I love literature and writing, and I love the opportunity to help young people develop as readers and writers,” Mr. Huffstutler says. “MBU is a wonderful, Christ-centered place where young people come to develop their talents for God in every way.”

Family: Nate and his wife, April, have been married since 2000, and have three daughters.

Church Ministry: Nate serves as a deacon in his church, teaches Sunday school, and is occasionally involved in the music ministry and junior church.
