Heeding godly advice, he earned a degree in Biblical studies and business administration, yet he begged for a job—so began the missional quest of this episode’s guest, Austin Lehman, CEO at Remodel Health, a company that specializes in health insurance for Christian organizations. Austin returned to school and gained experience in several accounting firms, supporting his family but not fulfilling ministry desires. Then passage of the Affordable Health Care Act supplied his “light bulb movement.” Austin and host Dr. Matt Davis track God’s unfolding plan in the development of Remodel Health from that first embryonic thought to the 65-member team it has become—the gratifying agency through which Austin and his staff can serve the church.
