EDUC 510 – History and Philosophy of Education

EDUC 510 is an in-depth study that integrates concepts and information from major social sciences and philosophy to examine the challenges and problems of teaching in modern schools (faith-based and public). Focusing on historical, cultural, socioeconomic, and political issues that affect education, the project asks students to examine their dispositions, knowledge, and skills, and to determine their path for growth and development into an effective Christian teacher for all children. (3 credits)
