Maranatha Baptist University presents "Walk Worthy"
Be encouraged once again by the students of Maranatha Baptist Seminary as they share insights and lessons learned from God's Word while pursuing their graduate degrees. In this second volume of daily devotionals, you will find an invitation for you to treasure God's Word, to know God's joy and peace, and to "walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10).
About the Book
Walk Worthy is a daily devotional produced by the students enrolled in the seminary. The students who wrote the devotionals come from a broad range of backgrounds and skills. The devotional looks at topics from man's sufficiency on God to household relationships, covering both Old and New Testament scriptures.
Note from the Editor
Seminary students are usually required to write lengthy, technical research papers. At Maranatha, however, we also require our students to write straightforward articles of common interest, as this furthers their writing capabilities and teaches them to make a strong point in a small space.
Some students come from strong Bible backgrounds, including undergraduate Bible training, and some come from secular backgrounds. Some devotionals are written by students who are the brink of finishing their degrees, having been able to hone their writing skills through much practice. Others are written by students just beginning to face our challenging writing expectations. Whatever their background and level of writing skill, our students trust that they might be a blessing to you.
