PROGRAM

OVERVIEW

There are five distinct licensing areas within MBU’s Master of Arts in Teaching certification program: Elementary, Secondary English Language Arts, Secondary Science, Secondary Social Studies and Secondary Mathematics (coming soon!). Students apply to and are admitted to one of these licensing areas. Students take classes and participate in field  experiences in cross-curricular groups. Methods instruction and student teaching experiences are specialized within the content area.

Clinical requirements may be satisfied by three or more years of teaching experience
