Angela Morris

Associate Professor
College of Arts and Sciences,
Department of Humanities

Mrs. Angela Morris began her teaching career at Maranatha Baptist Academy prior to joining the university faculty.  Her exuberant teaching style and passion for her students are evident in her classroom. Mrs. Morris teaches a variety of courses in the Department of Humanities, including speech, English, and TESOL methods. In addition, she frequently directs MBU dramatic productions.

“From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. My father was a doctor and my mother was a nurse, so they frequently encouraged me to enter the medical field. But, I have always had a strong desire to teach. I can remember way back in junior high and high school analyzing my teachers to determine what qualities made up good teachers!” – Angela Morris
