David and Janean Glass established this scholarship in memory of their daughter, Hannah Marie (2005-2024), who was a junior English Education major at MBU when she unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord. She was an exceptional student and a sweet-spirited servant in her church, with a heart for reaching souls with the gospel. She made a tremendous impact in her first year on campus and in the Academy, where she was conducting her education fieldwork.
The Hannah Glass Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an on-campus School of Education major pursuing a teaching license in their field. The recipient must demonstrate exemplary conduct, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to minimizing educational costs through active employment. Additionally, the student must be actively involved in ministry within their local church. The student must be entering his or her sophomore, junior or senior year and with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
