Supreme Court Judgment – The Family

The Supreme Court has declared that gay marriage is now the law of the land. As a sign of postmodern politics, this new law was not voted upon by the people (in fact, where the people had a choice, they overwhelmingly rejected the legality of gay marriage), nor was it enacted by the peoples’ representatives in Congress.

While there has been discussion of protecting the church’s religious beliefs, there has been little discussion of the protection of the individual’s rights or of the family’s rights. My Friend Needs Your Prayers

The following was written in 2008, but is as true now, and perhaps more so, than then. (Editor’s Note)

My Friend Needs Your Prayers

See http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2012/mayweb-only/andy-stanley-homosexuality.html for an article and for links to his sermon and to a response from Al Mohler. The US populace is about evenly divided on the legitimacy of homosexuality, if the polls can be believed. 30 states, however, have clearly defined marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman.
