Programs

Maranatha offers undergraduate degrees in 31 majors and 34 minors as well as eight graduate programs. You may tailor your undergraduate program with tracks (required for certain majors), minors (18-28 hours), concentrations (unrelated to major and are 12-18 hours), and electives. Every course of study at Maranatha is taught from a biblical worldview and is designed to prepare competent professionals who will be effective leaders in their local churches.

Department of Humanities

Designed to educate broadly rather than train narrowly, a Humanities degree is one of the best programs you can take to prepare for future specialization in any of more than 7,000 graduate programs offered in universities nationwide.

Department of Music

If you become part of the music program, choose a track for performing with your voice or instrument, teaching piano or strings, or developing your talents for a church music ministry.


School of Nursing

The Department of Nursing sees each human being as someone made in the image of God, so we have a higher motive for caring for patients. We train nurses to care for the physical body, but to do so with biblical compassion and love.The number of jobs in health care is expected to jump to 3.2 million by 2018. Maranatha is the only regionally-accredited fundamental Baptist college to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Maranatha was authorized by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing to plan and admit students into its BSN program.

New Master of Education

Our new Master of Education program helps professionals translate the science of learning into practical methods of instruction. Designed to equip educators with graduate-level tools and theory needed to promote excellence in the classroom and beyond, our program emphasizes teaching to the heart and building Christian character.

ROTC

ROTC programs accept young people who are athletes, leaders, and scholars. These students receive training in leadership skills they can use for the rest of their life. Many former officers have used their ROTC leadership skills to become successful business or government leaders.
