“Let the Lord lead” is not only guest Carol Senn Ruffin’s mission statement, but also her life’s storyline. To illustrate the point, Carol, who is a professor at Maranatha in music and communication arts, recounts an incident which occurred while working in a public library during a year’s sabbatical. She felt impressed by the Lord to contact a radio station to offer her services. Unable to ignore the preposterous urging, she submitted and went from briefly being the station’s receptionist to having her own show. Oddly, host Dr. Matt Davis also had a radio program called “The Flip Side’ through the same station. Together they discuss her career in music and in dramatic productions and how “ministry happened along the way.”
