Fear not! A Savior is born

You are invited to attend this year’s performance of selections from Handel’s MESSIAH. Chamber Singers and Madrigal Choir, under the direction of Dr. Doug Bachorik, will sing several select MESSIAH choruses accompanied by the Maranatha string orchestra. In addition, Chorale will join for  the “Hallelujah Chorus” and “Worthy is the Lamb,” and vocalists will present solo selections. Members of the Maranatha Baptist Academy will also join for the final song.

In this world, we face many fears and anxieties. God knew this would be so, and many times God tells His people in Scripture, “Fear not!” with the reason often being because He was with them. This Christmas season, let us reflect on Emmanuel–God with us. A Savior was born to live on this earth and then die for our sins. He did not stay dead, but is risen today, and He is now interceding for us. We have great hope and reason not to fear!

Join us for this evening concert reflecting on the birth, death, and reign of Jesus our living Savior.
