Two alumni awards are given to alumni regularly recognizing those who have served with distinction in ministry and those who have shown character and outstanding ability on the athletic field.

Roy Callan

Roy Callan graduated from Maranatha in 1976. Roy participated in Men's Soccer, Wrestling, and Baseball during his college years. He was even captain of each of those teams for at least one season. Roy also served as a society president, and met his wife Terrie (Goodell) at Maranatha.

After graduating, Roy started working as “Coach Callan” at Heritage Hall Christian School in Muncie, Indiana. He has faithfully served there as a soccer and basketball coach while also being active in his local church.

Marsha Jackson

Marsha Jackson served as the Maranatha women’s volleyball coach for 18 years. She led the volleyball team to several victories and led three missions trips for the volleyball girls. She and her husband, Bruce, served as professors at Maranatha for several years. They now live in Colorado, but still teach several online classes for Maranatha.
