Overview | Digital Media Communications

If you view media as a means of improving your communication skills, broadening your options for media design, or enhancing your ministry in the local church, this degree may be for you.

The Associate in Digital Media degree trains you to use media correctly and efficiently as a means of communication. It also allows you to choose classes that focus on photography, video production, web design, or photojournalism. Mastering these marketable skills places you in high demand among today’s businesses, institutions, churches, and ministries.


Digital Media Communications Program Outcomes

  • Students will demonstrate high-level communication skills.
  • Students will demonstrate increased levels of media literacy and active awareness of the impact media have on our lives and culture.
  • Students will be prepared to make informed, meaningful, and ethical choices as receivers of messages and professional-level producers of messengers.
  • Students will develop visual or physical products that demonstrate aesthetic quality.
  • Students will articulate the Scriptural worldview governing their works within the field of communication arts.
