Overview | Exercise Science
The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Pre-Athletic Training provides the undergraduate student an excellent foundation for entering a graduate program in the fields of athletic training or exercise science. The degree blends core exercise science courses like biomechanics, physiology of exercise and training room techniques with applied science courses like chemistry and physics for the perfect combination to get you into an accredited grad school.
The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Fitness provides the undergraduate student with the foundation to enter an entry-level position in a variety of the fitness careers such as employee wellness programs, fitness facilities, community exercise programs, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. With courses in applied science, exercise science and business, students are well prepared to succeed at a variety of careers in the fitness industry.
Both programs prepare you to take the exam for Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
