Alumni of the Year
2025 – Mark McKee (’87)
Maranatha Baptist University takes immense pride in celebrating the accomplishments and dedication of its alumni – Mark McKee was born to Gerry and DeAn McKee in August 1965 and made a profession of faith at a young age. As a freshman in high school, he confronted his doubts, gained assurance of faith and was baptized shortly thereafter. Mark attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Physical Education in 1987.
Athletic Hall of Fame
2024 – Pastor Randy Tanis
Pastor Randy Tanis was inducted into Maranatha’s Athletic Hall of Fame Friday, August 30, 2024 in recognition of his accomplishments on the field as a Maranatha Crusader (1978-1981), off the court as a youth pastor, athletic director, camp director, father, grandfather, and for his dedication to Maranatha athletes and athletic competition.
