Digital Media Marketing

Reaching people in the 21st century

Every business wants to make customers aware of its product or service. Every ministry wants to make people aware of how it can help enhance their spiritual walk. Both must embrace the use of digital media to get their message out to those who should hear it.

Maranatha’s Baptist Digital Media Marketing degree program is designed to prepare you to become a manager with specialized knowledge in communications and media skills. This major will help you combine marketing philosophy with practical skills in Web design, photography, videography, and desktop publishing. You will leave Maranatha with a well-rounded education and a marketable skill set.

“This is a great opportunity for business majors to get sound marketing theory and also gain the technology and communication skills for application of those concepts.” - Dr. Corey Pfaffe, Dean, School of Business

A media minor

If you want to get some classes in media communications but don't want to major in media, consider Maranatha's Digital Media Communications Minor. In the introductory classes, you will build your own website and produce your own short film. Then you can take it up a notch to specialize in video production, photography, and website development. You will work in a collaborative environment with other students and faculty to bring your ideas to the public.
